Dr. Wahome Karanja
Consultant, ENT Surgeon
Dr. Wahome Karanja is a distinguished ENT specialist with ear, nose, throat, head, and neck surgery expertise. With a Master’s degree from the University of Nairobi and specialized fellowship training in endoscopic sinus and skull base surgery from RWTH Aachen University Hospital, Dr. Karanja has demonstrated exceptional proficiency in his field. As the Founder and Director of Prodigy ENT and Hearing care center in Nairobi, he leads a premier ENT group practice dedicated to providing world-class care. His extensive experience includes roles as an ENT Consultant at Kerugoya County Hospital and Kenyatta National Hospital, where he made significant contributions to patient care and surgical excellence. Dr. Karanja’s commitment to mentorship, research, and training underscores his dedication to advancing the field of rhinology and skull base surgery, making him a respected leader in the medical community.

Dr. Gakuo Karuga
Consultant, ENT Surgeon
Dr. Cyrus Gakuo Karuga is a highly accomplished medical professional with a diverse otolaryngology (ENT) background and head and neck surgery. He is the current chairperson of the Kenya Ear, Nose, and Throat Society (KENT). He holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MB.ChB) from the University of Nairobi and an MMED in ENT and Head and Neck Surgery, Karuga has undertaken extensive training and surgical camps both locally and internationally, honing his skills in advanced procedures. With a passion for research and teaching, he has contributed significantly to the field through presentations, publications, and active involvement in professional societies. Karuga’s career spans various leadership roles, including directorships in multiple hospitals and clinics and academic positions such as lecturing at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology. Committed to philanthropy, he engages in charity work and serves as a director of the Ruby Heart Organization, demonstrating his dedication to improving healthcare access and outcomes in Kenya.

Dr. Samuel Okerosi
Consultant, ENT Surgeon
Dr. Samuel Ndemo Okerosi is a highly skilled medical professional with a specialization in Otorhinolaryngology head and Neck Surgery. His holds a Master of Medicine in Ear Nose and Throat surgery and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Nairobi. He was a visiting scholar in head and neck surgery at the Vanderbilt University Medical Centre, Nashville, Tennessee USA. He has contributed to the knowledge of head and neck surgery through various publications in the field. His passion is ensuring high quality and easily accessible care for those with head and neck conditions in the Country.

Dr. Angela Wairimu
Consultant, ENT Surgeon
Dr. Angela Wairimu Nyamu is a dedicated ENT specialist with extensive experience in Otorhinolaryngology, Head, and Neck Surgery. She holds a Master’s degree in Otorhinolaryngology from the University of Nairobi. Currently, she serves as the Consultant ENT Surgeon at Narok County Referral Hospital, where she leads the ENT department and performs complex surgeries. Dr. Nyamu’s career includes significant roles at Transmara District Hospital and Narok District Hospital, enhancing her skills in patient care and medical research. Passionate about community health and continuous learning, she actively participates in specialized training and volunteer work, bringing a wealth of knowledge and dedication to Prodigy ENT.

Dr. Keafon Nchifor
Consultant, ENT Surgeon
Dr. Keafon Nchifor is an accomplished ENT surgeon with three years of specialized experience, qualified as a Head and Neck oncologic surgeon through fellowship training. She is an executive member of the African Head and neck society of Surgeons. Her career, marked by a commitment to exceptional healthcare, particularly in Africa, reflects a preventive approach and strong community support for the less privileged. Dr. Nchifor has been instrumental in establishing and expanding the ENT department at the Mboppi Baptist Hospital under the Cameroon Baptist Convention, training clinical officers, and enhancing patient care through outreach activities. She has also contributed significantly to medical research and global health initiatives. Her academic background includes an M.D. from the University of Buea, a Master of Medicine in ENT surgery from the University of Nairobi, and a Head and Neck Fellowship from the PAACS/Johns Hopkins program. Dr. Nchifor’s professional ethos emphasizes collaboration, efficiency, and accountability in specialized medicine, aiming to advance targeted and evidence-based healthcare

Margaret Kahiu
Clinical Officer & Audiology Specialist
Margaret Kahiu is a highly skilled healthcare professional with over a decade of experience in clinical medicine, specializing in audiology and hearing care. She has developed strong expertise in diagnostic hearing assessments, vestibular evaluations/rehabilitation, tinnitus management, and hearing aid fitting.
Margaret’s professional background includes six years of service at Makueni County Referral Hospital, where she gained extensive experience in patient assessment, case management, and minor surgical procedures. At Prodigy ENT specialist center, Margaret provides comprehensive audiological services, including hearing assessments, vestibular evaluation and rehabilitation, tinnitus management, and hearing aid fitting and follow-up care.
Dedicated to advancing hearing health, Margaret is committed to expanding access to quality audiological care through community education, workplace hearing screenings, and patient-centered rehabilitation programs. Her approach combines clinical expertise with compassion, ensuring that every patient receives individualized care to improve their quality of life.
